Perform everyday system administration tasks like creating userids, permission groups, Central Administration duties, backup and restore of site collections to item level, and manage changes to site owners or site collection administrative requests. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users. Defines systems requirements based on user/client needs, business process, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Defines technical standards and functionality tests related to any functional SharePoint configuration changes. May develop specifications, prototypes, or custom solutions using SharePoint Designer. Developer knowledge of ASP.Net, Java, or similar is preferred. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, is familiar with a variety of SharePoint Central Administration and MS technological concepts, practices, and procedures. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department or top management.
Must have Secret, and MCSA, with either Security+ or Network+ Certifications; Preference for ITIL v3 in addition to other certs.
