What can you tell me about the staffing industry?
In today’s economic environment, it is difficult to find an industry that is not just growing, but flourishing. Each day, the staffing industry is responsible for providing employment to nearly 3 million people throughout the United States. Staffing is a $100 billion industry. To put this into perspective, if you ranked the revenue of the staffing industry within the Fortune 500, the staffing industry would be in the Fortune 20, ahead of known names like IBM and Proctor & Gamble. For 2011, the staffing industry experienced an estimated growth rate of 9%, succeeding in an uncertain economy still searching for a foundation of stability. With a 4% unemployment rate within the IT/communications industry, the forecast demand for MISource’s services is very positive.
