Evidence Control Technician
Clearance Required: Secret
For more than two decades, our client has been devoted to supporting DOD and Fortune 500 firms with sensor technology assessment, modeling & simulation, and systems engineering expertise.
In this position, you will be working in a laboratory environment supporting critical DoD technologies and systems. You will conduct evidentiary inventory of received materials, create worksheets from templates, enter data (laboratory number, case ID, etc.) into the ExPERT database, create examination plan and generate barcode labels, stage boxes and documentation for processing by technical exploitation personnel, prepares boxes for return to central repository, loads and unloads boxes of evidence and forensics materials, performs general shipping/receiving duties, and maintains proper custody of all forensic material under examination.
•1 or more years of experience as an Evidence Control Technician
•Experience with entering data into a database program like ExPERT
•The ability to work independently, think logically and creatively, and contribute to the big picture
•Good communication skills
•An Associate degree or technical certification in Criminal Justice or general science field is highly desirable
